"Looking back, I always feel that in those first few months my ignorance was perhaps my biggest strength. I had an idea—to use the power of the internet for enabling access to books—and to me that was what entrepreneurship was about. Had I known the kind of time, effort, money and most importantly, perseverance that starting an enterprise entails and the obstacles that come up every single day, I would perhaps not embarked on this journey. But then I didn’t know that the deciding factor for a new venture is the pigheadedness with which you are prepared to pursue it. The other directors were better prepared. Both were astute businessmen with enviable track records. They made sure that every time there was a hiccup, I didn’t give up."
