01 How soon after subscribing will I start receiving my copies?

The usual processing time for any subscription is three to four days from the date we receive the check. If you have opted to begin your subscription from the current issue, the copy will be subsequently couriered to your delivery address. This usually takes two days in Mumbai and up to a week for out-of-Mumbai addresses. If you have opted to begin your subscription with the next issue, your copy will reach you in the next quarter, within one week from the launch of the issue. The Smart Manager usually sends out an email to all subscribers announcing the launch of the issue each quarter. If you do not receive your issue within ten days from the date of the email, please notify subscribe@thesmartmanager.com

02 Will I receive a confirmation/receipt for my check/dd after I send it to The Smart Manager?

If you would like a receipt for your check/dd, please mention that in a covering letter along with your check. If you have opted to begin your subscription from the current issue, the receipt will be couriered to you along with the copy of the current issue. If you have opted to begin your subscription with the next issue, only the receipt will be posted/couriered to you within two days from receipt of your check/dd.

Subscribing online through the subscribe now page does not automatically register you for any special offers that are running. To avail of any special offer you must print out the coupon provided individually for each special offer, fill out the required details and mail it to us along with your check/dd. The coupons are available online at subscription offers

04 What should I do if I don't receive my copy during the quarter?

If you haven't received your copy within the first eight weeks of the quarter please send an email to subscribe@thesmartmanager.com or call us on (+91 22) 5662 4100 or fax us at (+91 22) 5662 5100. We will then contact the courier company for proof of delivery and keep you informed about the status of your subscription.

05 What if there is no courier delivery in my area/city?

The Smart Manager does its best to service all cities within India. However there are a few areas that are not serviced by our existing couriers. If you reside in a remote area, which is not usually accessible to couriers, your copies will be sent by post. It usually takes about a fortnight for copies to reach by post, and since there is no confirmation of delivery through this channel, we prefer to avoid this method of delivery. If you are aware of any couriers that do service your area efficiently, please mention that in a covering letter along with your check and we will do our best to contact them and make sure that your copy reaches you safely. Another option is for us to deliver to an alternative delivery address which is convenient to you and which our courier can service. You can then have your copy collected from that address.

06 How soon should I inform The Smart Manager if I want to change my delivery address?

It is best to inform us at least two weeks prior to the quarter from which you would like your issues delivered to a new address.

07 Can I gift a subscription to a friend, colleague or relative at another address?

Yes of course. Please let us know the billing address, and the ship to address and let us take care of the rest.

08 Do you offer corporate subscriptions?
