01 What qualifications do I need to enter the contest?

Any MBA student anywhere can enter the contest. However, access to the internet and a personal email ID are essential.

Also any managers can participate in the The Smart Manager Case Contest. The winner in The Smart Manager category will win recognition by being publised in The Smart Manager along with industry experts but if not eligible for the cash rewards.

We have a panel of experts who do the judging. For more information see our panel of judges.

Entries will be marked on the basis of
• understanding of the issues in the case
• logic of the solution
• viability of the solution
• completeness of the solution
• presentation (spelling, structure, language etc)

The winner will be notified by e-mail, which is why it is essential that the submission form be filled in accurately and completely, without leaving any blanks.

No, there is no format that needs to be followed. Only that the insight should not exceed 500 words and should be clear. Please send only text. Charts, tables, graphs or any other visuals are not required and will not be accepted.
