01 What qualifications do I need to enter the contest?

Any graduate or postgraduate student and any practicing manager can enter the
contest. However, access to the internet and a personal email ID are essential.
Also any managers can participate in the The Smart Manager Case Contest. The
winner in The Smart Manager category will win recognition by being publised in
The Smart Manager along with industry experts but if not eligible for the cash
rewards.

02 What is the basis for judging the entries? |
Entries will be marked on the basis of
• understanding of the issues in the case
• logic of the solution
• viability of the solution
• completeness of the solution
• presentation (spelling, structure, language etc)

03 How will I know if I've won?
|
The winner wilThe winner will be notified by e-mail, which is why it is essential that the
submission form be filled in accurately and completely, without leaving any
blanks.
You can check our web site for results.We will also contact all shortlisted
participants over the phone. |

04 Is there a format that I need to follow while writing the analysis?
|
|
No, there is no format that needs to be followed. Only that the insight should
not exceed 500 words and should be clear. Please send only text. Charts, tables,
graphs or any other visuals are not required and will not be accepted.

05 When will it appear in print?
|
|
The winning entry will be published in the next issue of The Smart Manager.

06 Can I send my entry by post?
|

No, only online entries will be accepted. |

07 If mine is the winning entry, will it appear in print just the way I
send it?

It may, but The Smart Manager reserves the right to edit if necessary.

08 Is the The Smart Manager Case Contest open only to an individual or
could groups participate?

The Smart Manager does not allow teams to participate and entertains only
individual entries.
